NYC is no doubt a melting pot and probably the best place in the world to experience different cultures from far and wide without needing a visa or passport for that matter. Many parades and cultural festivals are held in the city annually and on May 16, St Georges Ukrainian Catholic Church hosted the Ukrainian Festival in the heart of East Village. Strangers and friends mixed, socialized, ate, shopped and danced. I myself managed to score a rare necklace!
Watch the video footage to see the traditional Ukrainian dancers entertain the crowd. FUN! FUN! FUN! 🙂
