Indigenous People of America Takes NYC

Well, Columbus day literally kicked rocks with the initiation of indigenous people’s day in America as of late. New York City took the lead with a dedicated 5th anniversary parade installment featuring the traditional feathered headdress accompanied by soul searching drums beating down Broadway. The day celebrated indigenous culture, diversity, pride and unity. Participants of various tribes danced and pranced towards Union Square where they paused to perform some of their ancestral dance routines.
