British Airways brand new first class fleet. Kudos BA!
The first leg of The Shoeholic book and Shoeholics Magazine world tour began on a high note thank God. Thanks to accumulated air mile points on British Airways I was able to try out their new first class cabin on their new fleet. I have to say it was worth checking out. The pampering was top notch compared to the last time I was on their first class cabin to India a few years ago. That was a disaster. I saw a great improvement this time around. For the first time in years (flying), I slept like a baby throughout the 12-hour flight from Paris where I had just taken in the Haute Couture shows. This would be my 4th trip to Japan.
Upon my arrival at the Ritz Carlton, I couldn’t help noticing the view from my high floor suite. It was breathtaking. Just about every building’s rooftop has a helipad for their helicopters. I should move here! LOL!

As usual, you can always trust the Japanese with esthetiques. Everything in Japan looks neat and in their place. The heated seat in my hotel room was no exception. It has it’s built in flusher sound, deodorizer, bidet et.al. 
Some trains were reserved for just women. If only we could have this in New York too!

Now on to our mission in Japan. The Japanese ladies are very fashionable and very proud of their culture. The moment word got out that we were in town to promote Shoeholics Magazine, the pictures from some of the readers who had already bought their copies started pouring in!
