The Oscars as usual brings out the glam and the glum of Hollywood and last night was no different. As expected, both of my favorites took home the golden dudes. It’s long overdue for such talents as Julianne Moore to score one and a fairly newcomer Eddie Redmayne also took home the top acting honor. Their respective performances in their roles moved me to tears at the theaters.

Ok, now on to the fashion. Everyone looked razzle dazzle and I applaud. But I must be honest. How many more times is JLO going to play the deep plunging V necklines on red carpets? YAWN….I quite prefer the number she wore to the Vanity Fair Oscar afterparty. Perhaps it’s time her glam team start revising their formula or risk more faux pas like what happened last night when Robert Duvall’s wife was seen waltzing the red carpet in similar garb as JLO. And again looked like the one on Katie Cassidy on the red carpet!!! OY!

Lady Gaga had a fair share of risk appearing in what looked like she was wearing a full apron and gloves to scrub off some dead bodies in the bathtub. And Lupita’s Calvin Klein dress must weigh a ton with all of those 6000 faux pearls sewn on her little frame. Scarlett Johansson overkilled her Versace gown with the necklace. Chrissy Teigen bared too much chest and legs at the same time, over done. While many others need to fire their stylists, Zoe Kravitz needs to hire one fast!

The only outfit that really had me salivating? Well, Rosamund Pike of Gone Girl. Overall, Elie Saab, Zuhair Murad and Givenchy killed it with Oscar gowns this year!

Well, there’s always next year. Now back to work!

I just got back from a private screening of Cinderella movie. Gotta to say it’s the MOST well produced and well acted movie of all Cinderella movies I have ever seen! So emotional, realistic and convincing! 2 thumps up for Game of Thrones actor playing the Prince and 2 actresses from Downtown Abbey playing Cinderella and one as the step sister. And you can expect nothing but the best from Cate Blanchett as the wicked step mother. She NAILED IT! Oh the fashion, to die for!

It’s a must see for all adults and kids alike. I might be seeing it again when it hits theaters on March 13. Did I mention the glass shoes? Very unique. A must!

It’s not everyday you get to hear Kanye West down play Nike high top sneakers to promote his own line of sneakers to admiring fans who just happened to be at the airport. One lucky fan could very well get a brand new pair of sneakers from the hit maker if he keeps his words. Watch the video footage to witness Yeezus make a fan’s dream come true. Gotta say, that’s mighty sweet of him.

The Grammy awards brings out the naughtiest and fashionably daring moments in the music biz. The images below say plenty without me having to yap too much about nothing here. Some even left me gasping for air (thanks Madonna), while others had me wondering why in God’s name they gave their stylist a day off on a big night like this one. Sigh…I suppose it can happen to the best of us.

Alas, I must say kudos to such risk takers like Rihanna for trying something new and daring for the red carpet in an enormous pink tulle dress by Giambattista Valli. My hats off to her.

Snow storm Juno decided to chicken out on New York and settle for Boston after much hype. The city’s weather status was reduced to a winter storm on Tuesday. I was slightly disappointed because I was looking forward to going out and scoring some really cool pictures. Nevertheless, we thank God it missed New York for safety reasons because judging by the pictures surfacing from Boston, it looks like they’re in a bit of a pickle and then some. They are knee deep in 30+ inches of snow! YIKES!

OMG!!! As of yesterday, Switzerland unpegged their currency from the Euro and suddenly it dropped. That means Europe just became very affordable for Americans and the dollar now more valuable. What used to cost about $1.35  for every 1Euro is now much lesser! Alas! Americans will now find Switzerland a bit more expensive than before. You get to pick your poison folks! Paris here we come!

 According to MailOnline: A beauty salon in Miami is offering a bizarre new treatment dubbed ‘vacuum therapy’ which claims to enlarge women’s buttocks.

Sculpting Goddess’ $60 procedure involves two ‘suction cups’ being attached to each buttock for 45 minutes, and claims to ‘raise, enlargen and re-affirm the gluteus [sic].’

Posting before-and-after photos to its Instagram account, the salon states: ‘The proof is in the pudding. You know you want to try it out.’

Sculpting Goddess owner’s Tini tells Daily Mail Online that the number of sessions required to gain the best results varies by individual, but is generally between four and six.

The non-invasive procedure, she says, leads to a permanently more pronounced posterior, because it ‘mobilizes the fat.’

Tini has had the vacuum therapy performed on herself, and reports that one year on, the results have stuck around.

The treatment, according to Tini, will ‘soften skin’ for customers who have had ‘butt shots’ and ‘decrease muscle tension.’

It also promises to ‘break down cellulite and fatty deposits’, thus ‘eliminating toxins’.

Comments on the salon’s Instagram uploads of its vacuum therapy include: ‘I need this’ and, ‘We need to go to Miami!!’

Since word of Tini’s unusual treatment has spread, she’s seen a surge in demand; particularly for customers in New York, whereas before her customers mainly hailed from South Florida, Alabama and Georgia.

Detective David Currie wore his uniform to become one of Florida’s first married gay couples, marrying Aaron Woodard,

They tied the knot shortly after midnight on Tuesday, when the state legalized gay marriage.

‘It’s a really great feeling,’ Currie told the Miami Herald.

‘I think about how I did an amazing thing last night.

‘I’m very excited, not only for me personally but for what it means for state of Florida, for people who have careers like mine where being gay is not that cool… it’s not easily acceptable.’

‘When straight couples get married in the military they wear their uniforms and he and asked me if I would wear mine,’ said Currie.

‘I said I would need to find out if it’s proper.’
